Deals & Dupes: Mcgee & Co Lorford Smoke Bell Lantern

I recently did a deals and dupes post with an Anthropology mirror, which then prompted a friend reach out to see if I might be able to find a dupe for a gorgeous pendant light produced, the Lorford Smoke Bell Lantern , by Mcgee and Co.

Seeing as scouring the internet in my free time to find deals in one of my favorite activities, I pleasantly accepted the challenge of hunting down some more affordable options for the new house they are building.

Subject item: The gorgeous Lorford Smoke Bell Lantern, coming in either a Aged Iron (black) or Gilded Iron (antique brass) with a gorgeous mercury glass urn that surround the light bulbs. They have three sizes: small, medium and large, ranging in size from 23" to 43 inches. Price tag starts at $1,110 for the smallest and goes up to $3280 for the largest option.

Now I think that light fixtures are one area that can justify a little more room in the budget. I was recently touring a new construction community and the size of their pendant lights screamed cheap. Not only are they an easy way to refresh a space, they visually can elevate builder basic to appear more custom. However, over a thousand dollars per light is a pretty penny, especially if you need a couple to hang over your kitchen counters. Therefore, I have scoured some of my favorite sites to provide a handful of more affordable options. While there is nothing out there that is an exact match, these have similar features or qualities that I think would make a gorgeous contribution to anyone's home.
